The Perfect Cars for Large Families

The family car market is pretty crowded, and it can be hard to identify the best options out there. For me though, the cars below are the best ones for large families.

Volkswagen Passat

Long journeys with the family can be made an awful lot easier and more pleasurable if everyone in the car is comfortable. So, if comfort is what you’re after in a family car, look no further than the Volkswagen Passat. The interiors are designed and installed with real care and attention paid to comfort.

There’s nothing too flashy or complex about the Passat, but that’s not a criticism. Volkswagen always makes the effort to fix their faults. Each new iteration is a slight upgrade on the one before without making any upgrade that would render the car unrecognisable. That’s just what you need in a family car.

Skoda Superb

As long as you can look past the ridiculous name, the Skoda Superb is a great car for large families. It’s one of the most spacious cars you’ll find on the consumer market today. The kids will feel a million miles away when they’re in the back, and you’re driving in the front. The body of the car is so stretched that there’s a considerable distance between back and front seats.

The boot is enormous too. All that legroom in the back seats doesn’t eat into the amount of storage space you have in the boot at all. We all know families often have a lot to take with them when they’re on the road. But no matter how much you need to transport, the Superb will meet your needs.

Vauxhall Antara

The Vauxhall Antara is the kind of car that covers all bases without standing out in one particular area. This might have worked against it in terms of sales, but it’s actually a great car with everything a large family needs. It’s low cost, big size, with a great build quality. What more could you want?

It has a lot in common with great cars like the Chevrolet Captiva. But whereas a Chevrolet will be out of the price range of most ordinary drivers, an Antara can be found very cheaply from places like A1 Carriages. The low costs of the car are what pull people towards it, and when they get inside, they might just be surprised by the levels of quality they find.

Audi S4

Family cars don’t have to be dull and boring. So many of them are, but not all of them, as the Audi S4 proves. It goes from 0-60 mph in just 5 seconds. Now, there aren’t many family cars you can say that about. It’s also a very durable and resilient car too; it’ll take on whatever you throw its way.

One of the most appealing aspects of the car is the way it looks. It must be the best-looking car for sale on the family car market right now. It’s designed with style in mind whereas most family cars focus on practicality. That’s not to say it isn’t practical too though. There’s plenty of space in the back and boot, with plenty of headroom for tall drivers.

Buying a family car demands a lot of thought and consideration. Hopefully, these ideas have helped you out.
